The Silmarillion Film Project is fueled by participation from the listeners. There are several avenues available for you to participate with us, and we invite to you take one or more of them.
1. Listen to the Live Broadcast
Generally, Silmfilm episodes will be broadcast live in the Mythgard Institute Netmoot (GotoWebinar interface) on alternate Fridays at 10:00 am Eastern time. The first exception to this is the premiere episode, scheduled for 9:30 pm on Friday, June 5, 2015. By registering for the show, you will get email reminders for upcoming episodes as well as notification of any changes in the season’s schedule.
2. Listen to the Audio Recording
We will make episodes available on iTunes and on the SilmFilm website as soon as possible.
3. Get Involved on the Discussion Board
Corey, Dave and Trish may co-host the show, but the SilmFilm discussion board is where things will be movin’ and shakin’. There are forums for every aspect of the adaptation that include subforums for each season. Weigh in on the topics that interest you, share your opinions, and offer suggestions.
4. Branch Out on Your Own
While Corey, Dave and Trish make the final decisions about the questions that are posed at the end of each episode, and determine the direction of the main adaptation, there is certainly room for people to pursue different approaches. If offshoot efforts spawn as we go along, we will endeavor to make a place for them on the discussion board. It will be interesting to compare and contrast different adaptations as time goes on.
